Update From Airport

At the Airport. Flight delayed 30 minutes. My connection in Chicago is now down to 21 minutes. Flight was delayed as the airport was shutdown for Air Force One to land.  I catch a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt. 3 hour layover in Germany then on to Abuja.

Yesterday, I bought a $5.99 suitcase to take things that various people asked me to take. It weighed 42.8 pounds. My bag which has my clothes, some books, 1200 LED lights, and some items from other people weighed in at 48.5 pounds after I added 2 pounds of M&Ms.

I am sure the kids at Jimeta will appreciate the M&Ms.

Two weeks ago, my wife and I went to Washington, DC area for the Baptism of our granddaughter Sydney. Our flight was cancelled due to weather but we got on stand by on the only flight that went to DC. We took the Metro from the airport to Maryland. We changed trains at L'Enfant Plaza. When we got off at Prince George Station in Hyattsville I realized I no longer had my backpack with my laptop, camera, presents and other things. I spent a lot of time the last two weeks changing passwords and reloading a new laptop.

Had the Baptism in Virginia followed by a party in Hyattsville. It was a combination, Baptism, Caroline's Birthday, Sydney early birthday and House Warming. Here a  couple pictures of Sydney.

The plane just arrived I am going to shutdown and get ready to board.

That lady was splashing water on my head.

I can't walk but I can climb the stairs.

Birthday Cake has a nice feel.
